BIMBox is delighted to be part of the award-winning team at The Catalyst, Newcastle, which has won three awards at the Construction Excellence North East Awards 2020.

The project has won in the Integration & Collaborative Working, Building Project of the Year and Sustainability categories.

BIMBox was Information Manager for Bowmer+Kirkland at The Catalyst in Newcastle, supporting the pioneering delivery of the £50m new home to the UK’s National Innovation Centre for Ageing and the National Innovation Centre for Data for Newcastle University.

As Information Manager on the project, BIMBox streamlined project processes through clearly defined digital strategies, helping to align and integrate the team and deliver increased collaboration capacity throughout the delivery.

Additionally, our advanced 3D Modelling team developed the complex curtain wall system and external diagrid of the building.
