How can we monitor and improve air quality in existing housing? In collaboration with Dr Faris Elghaish and Mohammed Zoher, our BIM Consultant Arva Arsiwala has led on a new research publication detailing an innovative Digital Twin solution with IoT, AI and BIM integration. The research presents a Digital Twin and AI solution to automate the predictive monitoring and controlling of equivalent Carbon Dioxide (CO2-eq) emissions and Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) from existing assets.

This predictive monitoring system of CO2-eq emissions were developed using the design science research paradigm. A real-life case study based on housing was utilised to validate the created solution. This solution introduces interactive dashboard to predict CO2-eq based on varying humidity percentages and temperatures.
